First Street Gallery will exhibit work by four very different artists. Sallie Benton has an energetic, painterly force in her human and animal portraits. Michele Liebler brings a subtle probe to the commonplace in her still lives and self-portraits. Stefan Pokorny, in a more linear style, explores form and surface with a rich sense of color and light. Lisa Zwerling paints narrative and symbolic works with animals, Apache helicopters, and other machines of war.

The show will be exhibited at First Street Gallery from December 2nd to January 3rd. The opening reception is on Thursday, December 4th from 6 to 8 PM. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to 6 p.m. The gallery will be closed on December 25th, 31st, and January 1st.
