Rachel Gordon Bernstein

For Rachel Gordon Bernstein, painting is a process of observation and meditation. She prefers natural light and pursues plein-air painting: in the Catskills of NY, White Mountains of NH, and since 2003 the Midcoast of Maine. Her subjects include landscape, architecture, still-life, reflections, and views through windows, doorways and arches. Gordon Bernstein received her MFA from Brooklyn College of CUNY and her BA from Brandeis University. She has exhibited her oils and watercolors in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
