Bryan Collins
I paint in watercolor. It's where I began as a child.
When I think I have gained some expertise,
I am reminded of how deep the waters can be.
So you might say I'm a perpetual beginner.
The allure for me is the way wet pigment mixes
and settles naturally on paper. The spectacle of this
small event excites me, which moves me to paint more.
At times my painting exhausts and even depresses me.
However I am comforted by the thought that
there are infinite possibilities but one simple truth. |
