Pat Lenz

Art cannot save lives nor can it realistically improve the universe but it may help us assess our world and accept new and, on rare occasions, prescient ideas.

My work explores concepts, politics, and sexuality and is influenced by current events, non-fiction, and cinema. Simplicity of form, scale, and humor are important to me as well as a healthy dose of irreverence.

In addition to sculpture, my recent installations have included drawing, video, sound, and performance.
