ELIGIBILITY
Open to all U.S. resident artists at least 18 yrs. of age. Exception: Artists currently represented by First Street Gallery.
Eligible entries include oil paintings, water media, pastels, graphics, prints and sculpture in any medium. No photography or film.
The width of work, including frame, may not exceed 30 inches. No height limit.
Maximum weight of sculpture: 50 pounds. No wall hung sculpture. Sculptors must provide sculpture stand with a maximum footprint of 24" x 24".
ACCEPTANCE
Accepted work may be refused if it does not conform to the image entry, at the Juror's discretion. No substitutions of accepted works will be allowed. All accepted work must remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibit.
SALES
The gallery will take no commission on any work sold during the exhibition. Work need not be for sale (it may be marked "N.F.S."). No "P.O.R." sales.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
Judging will be done from 35 mm slides and JPEGS ONLY (slides preferred). No PowerPoint Presentations or any other imaging software.
Slides…
must be cardboard mounted, in a top-loading plastic slide sheet (please put your name on the slide sheet), and must be labeled with artist's name, title, medium, framed dimensions (HxW), (sculpture: HxWxD plus Weight) and "TOP" for orientation of the image. Please number each slide to correspond with the number on the entry form. Sculpture must be represented by two views. Please label sculpture views accordingly: Title#1/view 1, Title#1/ view 2.
Digital images…
should be JPEG files, submitted on a CD which can be read by a PC and a MAC. JPEG images should not exceed 1600 pixels in any dimension and should have a maximum file size of 1 MB. Please label CD with your name and label each JPEG image as follows:
Last Name, First Name and Title Number that corresponds with that image on the Entry Form and Notification Card, as follows:

There is a $30 non-refundable entry fee for 1-3 works. $5 for each additional work – no limit on the number that may be submitted (1 slide or JPEG for each work, except two slides or JPEG’s for sculpture at no additional cost.)

DELIVERY & RETURN
Delivery
All work must be suitably framed, wired and ready for hanging, or installation. Graphics, prints, watercolors and pastels must be framed under plexiglass or glass.
1. Hand delivered work will be accepted at the gallery ONLY on Friday, June 20th and Saturday, June 21st from 11 AM until 5:30 PM. Packaging must be removed from the gallery at the time of delivery.
2. Shipped work must arrive at the gallery between Tuesday, June 17th and Friday, June 20th, in a reusable container. A prepaid waybill for its return must be enclosed. Please make pre-paid shipping arrangements through the U.S. Postal Service, UPS, FED-EX, or DHL. COD RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Pickup
Hand-delivered work must be picked up on Tuesday, July 22nd, 12 PM-6PM.
The gallery accepts no responsibility for work not retrieved on pick-up date and will charge the artist $5.00 a day thereafter for storage. After 30 days the gallery may dispose of the work.
LIABILITY
Great care will be taken with all work, but artists are responsible for insuring their own pieces if they wish. First Street Gallery will not be responsible for any loss or damage to work while on the premises or in transit to or from the gallery.
The submission of a work of art to this exhibition shall be understood to constitute an agreement on the part of the artist to the conditions set forth in this prospectus.
APPLICATION CHECKLIST
Please note: We only accept checks or money orders drawn on US Banks in US dollars or a postal money order or American Express money order in US dollars. Please do not send cash. We do not accept credit cards. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, your images will not be viewed.
